Mask Off 2 || VOID
Artist: Troy Murray A.K.A “TYP”
Medium: Acrylic on wood panel with mirror insert
Size: 24” x 36”
Price: $7,000
Description: Throughout my life, I’ve always struggled with vulnerability and letting people see me struggle.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that I’m only at peace when I’m proud of my true self and happy in my own skin; thanking God for who He made me to be (flaws and all). I’ve also realized that only when I’m allowing people to see my true self and not hiding behind lies or faking a smile, does real internal growth and change occur.

How Does the Spirit Move
Artist: Chelsea Fraser
Medium: Print in hand-built frame, painted by the Artist
Size: 24” x 47”
Price: $375
Description: Recently, I had the privilege of hosting an exhibition of artworks by Makoto Fujimura at First Presbyterian Church. I spent many hours in front of those paintings, and their power was truly generative. I wrote several ekphrastic poems (poems written in response to other artworks) during his exhibition, including this one, How Does the Spirit Move. Beginning with thoughts of Fujimura’s process of “listening to the work” and listening to the Spirit, I moved through the gallery from Silence and Beauty – Mysterion to Water Flames – Vermillion to Walking on Water – Azurite and Walking on Water – Banquo’s Dream. The color and variety in these paintings colluded with the mystery of the Spirit’s work through the natural world, to draw my heart toward the movements of the Maker who Himself moves among and within and through us.
