We are excited to share that PAC Artist Nick Burns, “Ninja Picasso,” has been commissioned to create a community mural for Greenville Homeless Alliance (GHA) at Triune Mercy Center. The mural will highlight individuals of the Greenville, SC community who have been affected by homelessness.
The Greenville Homeless Alliance is a coalition of partner organizations and individual stakeholders igniting change to address homelessness in Greenville County. Charged with looking for sustainable solutions to homelessness, GHA works to educate, advocate, collaborate, and innovate with policymakers and the community.
“The project allows people to view stories of the ‘hidden people’ who have survived and endured tests in the darkness,” says PAC Artist Ninja Picasso. “Homelessness affects more than we realize, and I believe this massive mural will help shine a light on the resources provided in our community. This type of work was needed yesterday, and I’m thankful to be a part of this mission.”
A portion of the mural will be dedicated for the community, where members will join together to leave their mark on Triune’s canvas. PAC is proud to partner with GHA to use the arts as a vehicle of hope and healing.
